From robotics to the Audi F1 wind tunnel: An important month for Little Scientists

The February camps for the “little scientists” are over, and it was an important month for our NGO.

We launched our first STEM Racing camp, which was about much more than just robotics or programming. Participants formed their own Formula 1 teams and took on the roles of graphic designers, engineers, and aerodynamicists.

To show them where these skills can lead, we took them out of the camp and put them right in the thick of things:

Fluid Dynamics Research at ETH Zurich: An in-depth look at Professor Filippo Coletti’s department.

Audi Revolut F1 Team headquarters: An incredible opportunity to see the wind tunnel and simulator and talk to the experts who are developing the next generation of F1 cars.

These experiences gave our young participants a clear picture of what a career in science looks like.

A big thank you to everyone who opened their doors to our students and supported this vision: Simon Ritchie, Alessandro Cinelli, Saskia Lüthi, Paul Russell, Kelken Chang, and everyone else who helped make this possible.

This is just the beginning!
We have much more to offer in the coming months as we continue to bring science to life:

April: We visit ARIS Space in Dübendorf.
July & August: We are guests at the Department of Biochemistry at ETH Zurich.
