Building bridges between schools and businesses!
MINT KidZ Partners
Little Scientist offers hands-on STEM workshops for middle school students (grades 5–6) as well as lower secondary school students (grades 7–8). These workshops are sponsored by companies committed to promoting careers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
How does the partnership work?
Partnership & Planning
Companies can sponsor a workshop and become a Little Scientist partner. Together, we define the theme and content to ensure they align with both the learning objectives and the company’s industry focus.
Registration
Little Scientist handles the entire registration process and offers the workshop directly to schools. Each workshop is designed for one class of up to 20 students, ensuring an optimal learning environment with individual support.
Volunteer Training
Before the workshop, Little Scientist conducts a one-hour training session for company volunteers. We provide all necessary materials and instructions so volunteers can familiarize themselves with the content and effectively support the students during the session.
Workshop Delivery
The 2.5-hour workshop is hands-on and well-structured to foster motivation and learning success. Students work on exciting projects guided by Little Scientist, while company volunteers offer individual assistance. All materials and instructions are provided to ensure a smooth process and an enriching experience.
Workshop Themes
LEGO® Robotics
Chemistry Lab: Sample Management
In this workshop, students gain a unique, hands-on experience with the principles of modern laboratory automation and sample management. Participants work with robotics to develop a simulated, fully automated system for managing chemical samples—just like in professional research and pharmaceutical laboratories.
LEGO® Robotics
Smart Warehouse Logistics
Dive into the world of modern logistics and automation! In this workshop, students experience firsthand how an automated warehouse operates. Using the LEGO® SPIKE Prime system, participants build and program various interconnected models that simulate a smart warehouse, just like in leading companies such as Amazon, DHL, and other logistics pioneers.
LEGO® Robotics
Data Analysis
Discover the Power of Data-Driven Decisions! In this workshop, students gain a unique, hands-on experience focused on the fundamentals of data analysis and data collection using robotics. Participants work with LEGO® SPIKE Prime to build and program various models that simulate real-world, data-driven processes used by engineers, scientists, and analysts.
LEGO® Robotics
Innovation through Robotics
In this workshop, students gain hands-on experience with how robotics is used to drive innovation in modern mobility and logistics. Participants explore how engineering and programming work together to develop automated vehicles that are transforming our cities and the transport of people and goods.
AI and Robotics
Machine Learning with Scratch (AI)
In this workshop, students explore artificial intelligence through interactive game creation and hands-on programming. They dive into the exciting world of AI using the visual programming language Scratch, learn how artificial intelligence and machine learning work, and create their own interactive “Rock, Paper, Scissors” game, where the computer is trained to recognize hand shapes.
AI and Robotics
Micro:bit and Machine Learning
In this workshop, students experience firsthand how artificial intelligence (AI) can be combined with physical computing. Participants explore how machine learning can control real-world devices and create intelligent systems that respond to their environment.
