We want to spark curiosity in the learning process by introducing children to the world of STEM which is why we use the familiarity of LEGO Robotics educational sets combined with simple coding tools and apps and other hands-on STEM equipment to teach science and engineering fundamentals.
Little Scientists Coding Tools
Our Coding Tools:

At Little Scientists we believe in the importance of screen-free activities to teach basics of computational thinking, especially for younger students and beginners. Coding is more than just sitting at a screen and writing code; firstly children have to learn how to think computationally and to structure a series of operations. Unplugged coding activities also improve collaboration and team working and are fully adaptable across a spectrum of different science topics.

Blue-Bot
Simple robots, ideal for introducing programming to young learners
Blue-Bot is a sequential operation based robot which can be used independently of a computer and allows young children to tackle basic computational thinking without using a screen. It is ideal for teaching Pre-Kindergarten through second class students logic and sequential thinking on an individual or group basis.
Matatalab
Matatalab is a tangible coding robot set designed for kids 4-9 to learn basic coding through adventures and hands-on play. Matatalab comes with a coding robot, physical programming board, programming blocks and additional assets which can be used to create and solve different kinds of programming problems. Matatalab combines elements of Blue-Bot and Osmo to offer a different learning experience for children.

Created by a team from the Northwestern University in the United States, Osmo makes hands-on learning games in which players use objects in the real world to interact with the digital world shown on their tablets. With the games in the Coding Set, young students can learn the basics of programming and the principles of logical and sequential thinking. Osmo is a multi-award wining educational tool.

Coding is the new literacy! With ScratchJr, young children can program their own interactive stories and games. In the process, they learn to solve problems, design projects, and express themselves creatively on the computer.

Scratch 3.0 is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten Group at the MIT Lab. Children can program interactive stories, games and animations using the is a block-based visual programming language.
Scratch helps young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively — essential skills for life in the 21st century

We teach kids to build simple apps by writing real, text-based computer code. The coding language we use is JavaScript, with the addition of a few dozen special commands (words, basically) that make it easier for newbies to build cool stuff quickly.
JavaScript is a very, very popular programming language which is used by millions of professional software programmers all over the world. Its main use is in programming web pages—just like the one you’re reading now.
