Exploration Squad

The Exploration Squad is a weekly club designed specifically for Kindergarten students aged 4 to 6. It offers a captivating and enjoyable learning environment where children can engage in Lego robotics and science experiments. By fostering their curiosity and creativity, the club aims to nourish their young minds, encouraging exploration and problem-solving. Through this interactive approach, children will not only develop foundational STEM knowledge but also gain valuable life skills and grow in self-assurance.

The Exploration Squad Club takes place at the Familienclub Robinson (Schulhausstrasse 41, 8704 Herrliberg). Please read below for the day and time for the session:

 

On Tuesdays: from September to December

from 16:00 to 16:45 – Lego Building Session

On Tuesdays: from January to April

from 16:00 to 16:45 – Science Experiments Session

On Tuesdays: from April to July

from 16:00 to 16:45 – Lego Building Session

 

Registration and Fees:

The weekly club is offered in packages of 10 or more lessons following the school calendar of the city of Zurich. The cost is 35 CHF/ per lesson (plus credit card processing fees). The total amount for each quarter depends on the actual number of lessons influenced by the public holidays. A more detailed calendar with the dates will be available at the moment of booking. You have the flexibility to choose between registering your child for a Lego session, a science experiments session, or both. However, please note that registration is for an entire quarter session, meaning you need to select the same day of the week for the entire session. It is not possible to book single days.

Roaring Robotics: Unleash Your Creativity at the Lego Animal Park

Theme:

This module will immerse students in the exciting world of Lego robotics, through the Lego We.do Education set. The children will take their first steps in robotics by engaging in hands-on activities that will involve building and programming robotic animals. Through this interactive approach, they will develop essential STEM skills, including problem-solving, critical thinking, and logical reasoning. Additionally, they will enhance their creativity and collaboration abilities as they work together to design and bring their robotic animals to life.

Galactic Explorers: Embark on a Space Journey with Lego Robotics

Our young explorers will embark on a thrilling space-themed journey, where they will delve into the wonders of the solar system. Throughout the adventure, they will build and program their own moon rovers, small rockets, and much more.

Easter Science Wonderland: Hopping into Spring with Fun Experiments! As the Easter season approaches, we’ll embark on a colorful and vibrant exploration of science! Kids will engage in a series of experiments and activities that revolve around Easter-themed phenomena. They will discover the science behind dyeing eggs, explore the properties of light and color, and uncover the scientific secrets behind Easter traditions.

Unraveling the World of Paleontology: Prepare for an expedition into the mesmerizing realm of dinosaurs! Kids will embark on a prehistoric adventure, delving into the captivating field of paleontology.

Little Astronauts’ Amazing Space Adventures.It’s time to blast off into the vastness of space! Kids will embark on an intergalactic journey, discovering the wonders of our universe.
