Fossil Dig: Paleontology Summer Camps 2023

Investigate the prehistoric eras and the variety of dinosaurs that roamed our backyards long, long ago!!

The week will be filled with fun hands-on activities that will introduce you to some of the most fascinating dinosaurs of the past and even the present!

In the morning the students will be involved in Lego Robotics, using the LEGO WeDo2.0 sets (Level 1) to build their robots and a block app, that makes coding easy and intuitive, to program them.

In the afternoon they will participate in fun and creative science activities (such as reconstruct the skeleton of a dinosaur, create different types of fossils, participate in a paleontological excavation).

After the break, they will learn to program by playing with our Coding Robots and OSMO or creating simple Video Games and Stories with ScratchJr.

Additional challenges will be set to suit camper’s abilities. Every junior scientist should try!

We remind parents that the doors of the camps open at 09:00 and that the Drop Off is between 09:00 and 09:15. The Pick Up instead is from 11:45 and 12:00, for the morning session, and from 16:45 and 17:00 for the afternoon or full day sessions.

We offer early drop off in the morning and late pick up in the afternoon for working parents (please contact us for more information about applying fees). If we are not informed in advanced of late collection then parents/carers may be charged a late collection fees.

We will do 1 snack time during the morning session and another during the afternoon session.
Snacks and lunch are not provided.

Our snacks, lunch, and free time will be done outside if weather allows. Some locations have playgrounds and others have fields for free play. No screens allowed during breaks 🙂

Hello! My daughter was supposed to stay with my parents few weeks this summer, but unfortunately my dad got sick. So I need to find option for her during summer holidays. She is almost 6 year old and about to start Primary School. Really curious and inquisitive!
I saw your option for holiday camps. Is there any availability still for the FOSSIL DIG: PALEONTOLOGY SUMMER CAMPS 2023 in the week 17-21 July?

    thank you in advance

      Dear Celeste,

I’m Lisa and I’m responsible for the activities at Little Scientists.
I can confirm that we still have spots available at our holiday camps in July (from 17th to the 21st).
All the camps are available for bookings here: https://littlescientists.schoolipal.co.uk/
To make the booking, please register as a parent and log in, then create a child’s profile for your daughter answering some questions (only the info marked with * are mandatory). Then, select the location that works best for you and book the session you prefer. You can choose between “lego session” in the morning (from 09:00 to 12:00), Coding and science experiments in the afternoon (from 14:00 to 17:00) or full-day option (from 09:00 to 17:00).

For further info and support please do not hesitate to contact me at lisa@littlescientists.ch.

      Best regards,
