After School Clubs

Our weekly club program is offered 1 day per week for 45 minutes throughout the school year (excluding school holidays) in blocks of 10/15 lessons depending on school’s calendar.

Each block will introduce a set of new themes and activities, so there is no prerequisite to have attended a previous block of classes when signing up for the next one and there is no repetition through the school year.

All our lessons are taught both in German and English.

Our activities range from LEGO Robotics and Coding to STEM challenges and science experiments. Every lesson is packed with fun and interesting topics.

Our weekly clubs are tailored for 4 different age groups:

  • Discovery Club: for kids aged 3 to 4
  • Exploration Squad: for kids aged 4 to 6
  • Innovation League: for kids aged 7 to 9
  • Science Masters: for kids aged 9 to 12

Capacity:
Minimum: 4 students
Maximum: 7 students

We welcome all children from complete beginners to experts!

Location:

Familienclub Robinson

Schulhausstrasse 41, 8704 Herrliberg

Registration and Fees:

The weekly club is offered in packages of 10 or more lessons following the school calendar of the city of Zurich. The cost is 35 CHF/ per lesson (plus credit card processing fees). The total amount for each quarter depends on the actual number of lessons influenced by the public holidays. A more detailed calendar with the dates will be available at the moment of booking. You have the flexibility to choose between registering your child for a Lego session, a science experiments session, or both. However, please note that registration is for an entire quarter session, meaning you need to select the same day of the week for the entire session. It is not possible to book single days.

Members of the Familienclub Robinson are entitled to a 10% discount on the total amount for each quarter. To request the discount, please contact Lisa at lisa@littlescientists.ch.

FAQ

We normally have 1 instructor for every 5-6 children for our younger students and 1 for every 7 children for the older students.

It is not possible to book individual days. The lessons are sold in packages of 10/15 lessons following the school's calendar, but we offer a trial lesson where the student can come and try out the activities.

We follow the Kanton Zurich Guidelines and the Coronavirus protection measurements for schools.

We encourage the children to wash their hands regularly: before and after snack or lunch or after visiting the park at lunchtime.

We remind parents that the doors of the Clubs open 5 mins before the advertised starting time and close 5 mins after the advertised end time. Little Scientists reserves the right to charge a late pickup fee of 5 CHF for each 5 minutes past the close of the collection window.
